The performance of dust bag is directly related to the operation of dust collector. At present, there are some problems, such as large resistance of dust collector, small air volume and short service life of dust filter bag, which not only affect the dust removal effect, but also affect the normal production.

When the dust concentration is high, the bag filter for treating high-concentration dust should be selected, and its specifications and models should be larger to make the filtration wind speed lower, and the thickness of filter material should not be less than 550g/m2. When the flue gas temperature is high, high temperature resistant filter materials should be selected. According to different situations, adopting reasonable dust cleaning cycle can not only improve dust removal efficiency, but also prolong the service life of dust removal filter bags.

According to the current usage of filter materials in cement plants, the third generation filter materials are represented by polyester needle felt, which is cheaper and more widely used. In a few newly-built enterprises, the fourth generation filter materials are represented by coated filter materials and pleated filter cartridges, which have the advantages of lower running resistance, less dust emission at the outlet, and energy saving when the fan has a speed regulating device, but its price is higher.

A layer of dust is accumulated on the surface of the filter bag of dust removal cloth at normal temperature, so as to avoid the decrease of efficiency. This layer of dust is called the initial layer, and the filter bag is made of woven filter cloth or non-woven felt. The performance of dust removal bag is good or bad, and the dust at normal temperature falls into the dust hopper due to the action of gravity. When the dust-containing gas enters the bag filter, the particles are large. Therefore, the dust removal method is one of the characteristics that distinguish the bag filter, and it is also an important link in the operation of the bag filter.
