Dust removal bag is one of the accessories of dust removal equipment, which is generally called: dust removal filter bag, dust removal bag, filter bag, dust collection bag, dust removal filter bag and dust collector bag. Dust removal bag is the key part of bag filter during its operation, and generally cylindrical filter bag is vertically hung in the dust collector.

The filter material of bag filter is cloth or felt made of synthetic fiber, natural fiber or glass fiber. According to the need, sew the cloth or felt into a cylindrical or flat filter bag. According to the properties of flue gas, filter materials suitable for application conditions are selected. Usually, when the flue gas temperature is lower than 120℃ and the filter material is required to have acid resistance and durability, polyester flannel and polyester needled felt are often used; When dealing with high temperature flue gas (< 250℃), graphitized glass fiber cloth is mainly used; Under some special circumstances, carbon fiber filter materials are selected.    

It is very important to control the speed of flue gas passing through filter materials (called filtration speed) in the operation of bag filter. Generally, the filtration speed is 0.5-2m/min, the efficiency for particles larger than 0．1µm can reach over 99%, and the resistance loss of equipment is about 980-I 470pa.

Each type of bag filter should choose the corresponding bag. How should we choose the bag? What are the characteristics of polyester filter bag?

1. Vibration dust removal: The characteristic of this dust removal method is that the kinetic energy applied to the dust layer is smaller than that of pulse blowing and reverse blowing, and it is a low-energy dust removal method, so it is advisable to use fabric dust removal filter bags. The vibration wave transmission of flexible woven fabric is better.  

2. Dust removal by reverse blowing (reverse suction bag shrinkage): This dust removal method generally uses fabric dust removal bags, but it can also use felt materials with light cloth weight (300 ~ 400 g/m2), softness and small size change. Among them, glass fiber dust removal bags are mostly used, and they are mostly used in large bag filters. There are certain requirements for hoisting and sewing of dust-removing filter bags, and the service life of dust-removing filter bags will be greatly affected if they are not paid attention.

3. Pulse blowing dust removal: The kinetic energy of dust removal applied by this dust removal method is very good, and it is a typical way of dust removal by external filtration. The dust removing power is very strong, and the residual amount of dust attached to the yarn in the dust removing bag is relatively small. The dust removing bag used is usually felt or needle felt. Under the action of pulse injection, the filter bag of dust removal is greatly deformed in an instant, resulting in great stress, so filter materials with strong tension resistance must be used. Dust removal bags often rub against the skeleton, so wear-resistant dust removal filter bags or fabric dust removal bags can be used.
