In fact, we can literally understand the PTEF coated dust filter bag. As the name implies, a layer of ptfe microporous membrane is attached to the surface of the PTFE needle felt filter material, so it has been called the PTEF coated dust filter bag. This kind of film is formed by one-time hot-melt bonding with a filter covering machine. It is uniform and has very small pores, with a pore diameter of about 0.05 μ m ~ 3 μ m, which is equivalent to the initial dust layer of ordinary dust removal bags. It can block smoke dust and let clean gas pass through.
The coated PTFE filter bag is attached to different needle felt surfaces by pressure and high temperature. When bonding with thermoplastic fiber felt, we use special surface treatment technology to treat the surface of the felt first, and then coat it with PTFE film.
Such a high porosity of micropores is enough for a large number of dense water vapor to pass through at will, and the PTFE filter bag coated with membrane is because tiny water vapor molecules can diffuse freely and pass through the gaps of the membrane. However, the coated PTFE filter bag is hydrophobic, and water cannot penetrate through the microporous membrane. Because the coated PTFE filter bag has good corrosion resistance to any chemicals, the coated PTFE filter bag can be used in various chemical production processes.
In the process of pulse dust removal by dust collector, the thickness of the initial powder layer of ordinary dust removal bag is very unstable, and the dust removal bag is easy to be damaged, which will cause great fluctuation of operating pressure difference, and dust can easily be embedded into the bag, resulting in an increase in dust emission. If the pressure difference of the bag can't drop for a long time, it will eventually cause the bag to fail. And the film on the surface of the coated dust bag acts as a continuous and stable initial dust layer. With this film, it will not be destroyed. In this case, the dust is difficult to penetrate through the filter cloth, so it is embedded in the cloth bag, which can be used stably.
There are generally two types of PTEF dust filter bags:
1. Surface filtration: dust is intercepted on the surface of dust removal bag.
2. Deep filtration: filter through the gaps between the fibers of the dust removal bag, so that the dust can be easily embedded in the bag. Ordinary cloth bags are usually used for deep filtration, while coated filter materials are surface filtration.
